Last week’s episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” left audiences as speechless as the doctors in attendance at the combined party for Zola’s birthday and Richard’s big 10,000th surgery. The final confrontation between Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd), which all the other doctors overheard, was uncomfortable and tense, to say the least.
The formerly happily married couple has been through so much that it was only a matter of time before Owen snapped at his wife. When Cristina made the decision to get an abortion earlier this season, despite her husband’s desire to start a family, he supported her enough to take her to get the procedure — but fans knew it wouldn’t end there. His resentment has finally surfaced, and it looks like it’s only going to get worse.
During a visit to the “Grey’s Anatomy” set while they were shooting their next big crossover episode with “Private Practice” (more on that coming soon), “Grey’s” star Ellen Pompeo dished about the future of her on-screen best friend’s marriage. “That’s a really tough situation,” Pompeo said of Owen and Cristina. “I don’t see a good end … Realistically, I don’t see how a couple could recover from something so damaging.”
“But, this is ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’” she continued with a laugh. “Anything can happen. We’re not necessarily always in reality here.”
Next week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy will be quite interesting: an alternate reality. Here’s the press release:
“As Meredith puts Zola to bed and falls asleep, she begins to wonder — what if her mother had never had Alzheimer’s and she’d had loving, supportive parents? The reverberations of a happy Meredith Grey change the world of Seattle Grace as we know it. What if she had never met Derek in that bar and he had never separated from Addison? What if Callie and Owen had become a couple long before she met Arizona? And what if Bailey never evolved from the meek intern she once was?”
Hello everyone! Grey’s Anatomy is finally back! Heartbreaking episode with a beautiful ending <3. If you didn't tear up with that ending, then you have no heart. Ellen's smile is so contagious! Here are Screen Captures:

Ziffren Brittenham attorney Clifford Gilbert-Lurie also pitches in with the Alliance for Children’s Rights annual holiday program.
HBO entertainment president Sue Naegle, Ziffren Brittenham attorney Clifford Gilbert-Lurie and Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo hit Hollywood’s Le Cordon Bleu cooking school last week to help 18-year-olds who have recently “aged out” of the Los Angeles County foster care system learn how to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. Many of the 50 kids were frequently moved around, growing up in environments where a holiday dinner was not something they could count on.
The event has been an annual tradition for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, which since 1992 has provided advocacy and free services for 26,000 L.A. kids who have been removed from their biological families by court order. It also facilitates adoptions, advocates for the special educational needs the children require and provides mentoring for teenagers who’ve left the system. (more…)
