Caps from last night are up! Always awesome to see Meredith kicking ass!
A clip from Ellen DeGeneres show
Ellen talks about the show, tv babies and Stella! Ellen is always so adorable in interviews. (The video is below after the cut because it’s autoplay.)
The Grey’s Anatomy star is always charmingly real in interviews, and when I hit the set for tomorrow night’s Private Practice crossover episode, she discussed everything from why she’s still invested in doing the show after eight seasons, the not-so-promising fate of Owen and Cristina (gulp!), and her real-life struggles (and victories) as a working mom. (Warning: The last line of this interview may make you tear up.)
How has it been working with the twins (who play Meredith’s daughter Zola)?
Ellen Pompeo: Those babies are amazing. They’re so cute and they’re really small. You know they’re only like a little over a year, but they seem to know when the camera is on them. I didn’t see it but I think it [already] aired… When we were trying to get her to walk, and they’re really on the verge of walking, and just when the camera was on her, she just stood up and walked across the room! It was really a real moment and so it really has been fun. They’re great babies.Has Stella been around the two babies at all?
No, I feel really bad. I really feel like I’m cheating on Stella, I feel terrible. They’re adorable, but I really do feel guilty.

Caps from last night’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy:
So, what did you think of the alternate reality episode? Well, inside everyone is the same and they end in the same place. I did love Meredith/Webber relationship!
Thanks to the lovely Luciana from Grey’s Anatomy Br, I’ve added HQ Stills from some episodes, including the next 2 upcoming:
Last week’s episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” left audiences as speechless as the doctors in attendance at the combined party for Zola’s birthday and Richard’s big 10,000th surgery. The final confrontation between Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd), which all the other doctors overheard, was uncomfortable and tense, to say the least.
The formerly happily married couple has been through so much that it was only a matter of time before Owen snapped at his wife. When Cristina made the decision to get an abortion earlier this season, despite her husband’s desire to start a family, he supported her enough to take her to get the procedure — but fans knew it wouldn’t end there. His resentment has finally surfaced, and it looks like it’s only going to get worse.
During a visit to the “Grey’s Anatomy” set while they were shooting their next big crossover episode with “Private Practice” (more on that coming soon), “Grey’s” star Ellen Pompeo dished about the future of her on-screen best friend’s marriage. “That’s a really tough situation,” Pompeo said of Owen and Cristina. “I don’t see a good end … Realistically, I don’t see how a couple could recover from something so damaging.”
“But, this is ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’” she continued with a laugh. “Anything can happen. We’re not necessarily always in reality here.”
Next week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy will be quite interesting: an alternate reality. Here’s the press release:
“As Meredith puts Zola to bed and falls asleep, she begins to wonder — what if her mother had never had Alzheimer’s and she’d had loving, supportive parents? The reverberations of a happy Meredith Grey change the world of Seattle Grace as we know it. What if she had never met Derek in that bar and he had never separated from Addison? What if Callie and Owen had become a couple long before she met Arizona? And what if Bailey never evolved from the meek intern she once was?”
Caps from this week’s episode. I’m happy Grey’s Anatomy is great again!
